The ISPT-based approaches create a learning environment where teachers can actively construct their content and pedagogy knowledge (labeled as X). Then, the teachers work in groups to develop inquiry-, standards-, and problem-based science lesson plans for their students (Y1, group projects), followed by individual lesson projects (Y2).
Next, the teachers will transform their previous group/individual projects (Y1/Y2) to web-based platform projects (Z1/Z2).

Upon completion of the program, the participants will create a web-based instructional resource network at and between their schools to improve the status of elementary science education in the region and beyond.
